Howard Eskin of NBC-10 in Philadelphia reported on Sunday night that the 76ers will fire coach Eddie Jordan after the season.

Eskin added that the 76ers will likely look at Jeff Van Gundy, Jay Wright, Doug Collins and Avery Johnson as Jordan's replacement.

76ers general manager Ed Stefanski wouldn't respond to the rumor.

"I don't comment on rumors," he said.

Mike Dunleavy still hasn't been told by the Clippers why they decided to cut ties with him on Tuesday night.

Dunleavy stepped down as the team's coach on Feb. 4, but remained general manager until now.

He packed for a scouting trip to the ACC tournament and when he returned to his locker Tuesday night the news hit him.

"I come back to my locker around 7 p.m. and there's a million messages on my phone," Dunleavy said.

"This guy comes up to me and said, 'What's going on? They just said on TV that the Clippers severed ties with you?'

"I had no idea what they were talking about. I'm like, 'Wow. I haven't even talked to the Clippers.' "

The team announced the decision in an e-mailed press release.

"The team has simply not made sufficient progress during Dunleavy's seven-year tenure," the statement said. "The Clippers want to win now. This transition, in conjunction with a full commitment to dedicate unlimited resources, is designed to accomplish that objective."

Baron Davis was angered about being taken out of the starting lineup Tuesday. He missed Tuesday morning's practice, staying back at the hotel with a "stomach ailment."

"I'm upset. I don't think it's fair," Davis said after the game. "If my health caused me to miss a one-hour, walk-around practice, and that determines my position on the team, then I'm not going to be happy. I didn't know I wasn't going to be able to start. I guess that is a new rule that was put in today."

Lets get to the real topic, not sure what the bottom of fs looks like but from what I recall its getting rid of people who don’t frequent fs at all anyway (including spidey)
And on the real that’s what made fs fun to begin with to have one central location where you could shat talk/trade with whoever when ever. That’s why so many trades went down in previous years.

So next year should be an even more exciting year for FS fantasy bball, might even have weekly standings, awards, matchup reviews the whole 9 to make it the best league out there

MILWAUKEE -- A serious mismatch on paper, it looked even more ridiculous in real life: Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings, all of 6-foot-1 and 169 pounds, standing up to Boston Celtics forward Glen Davis -- a player eight inches taller and nearly 130 pounds heavier.

Still, Jennings didn't back down from an on-court confrontation with Davis in the fourth quarter. The rookie's aggressive reaction to a hard foul midway through the period appeared to kick-start the Bucks, who came back and took down yet another Eastern Conference heavyweight with a 86-84 victory over the Celtics on Tuesday.

"No doubt about it," Jennings said. "Once that happened, I said, 'Oh, yeah, it's on now.'"

"Once that happened, I said, 'Oh, yeah, it's on now.'"

what wasnt funny was listening to the bucks play by play guy straight homers, even on the most obvious play against the bucks they went the other way...and here i thought the celtics broadcast was bad

Chris Paul is still at least two weeks away from returning. The all-star has not yet been cleared to run but he's determined to play again this season.
If he misses another two weeks, that would leave just 10 games for Paul to play in before the NBA playoffs. However, Paul is confident in playing no matter what, saying, "If there’s one game left in the season, and I’m all right to come back, I’m going to play that one game." The outlook is bleak for the rest of the season but if you stuck with Paul this long, you have to hold on and hope for the best.
